How VizUp handles your data

Short version: we don't collect any. Everything stays on your device.

Last updated: May 4, 2026

The TL;DR VizUp is a fully on-device app. We don't run a server. We don't track you. We don't sell anything to anyone. The only data the app stores is the profile you create, your saved phrases, your scenarios, and your progress — and that data lives only on your phone.

1. What we collect

Nothing transmits off your device. Your name, photo (if you set one), career stage, primary goal, daily goal minutes, saved phrases, saved scenarios, streak, and quiz progress are stored in your iPhone's local UserDefaults database. None of it is sent to a server, because VizUp doesn't have one.

3. What we don't do

4. Subscriptions

If you subscribe to VizUp Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Apple receives the payment and tells our app whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID.

To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

5. Children's privacy

VizUp is designed for adult professionals navigating workplace communication. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. (We don't knowingly collect data from anyone — see Section 1.)

6. Deleting your data

Open the app, go to Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete All My Data". This wipes your profile, saved items, and progress from your device immediately. Because nothing was ever sent to a server, deletion is final and complete the moment you tap.

Uninstalling the app from your iPhone has the same effect.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, if we someday add a server-side feature — we'll update this page and notify users in-app before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change.
